    Cher Jean-Paul, cher Piero,

    Dear Jean-Paul, dear Piero,

The North American Jules Verne Society had its Annual Meeting last week at
the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

All attending members were pleased to learn about the rich and well-planned
program of the Jules Verne Mundial 2005. The quality of the events and the
number of visits scheduled impressed all of us.

We are really looking forward to this exceptional commemoration and can
    already inform you that at least 15 NAJVS members will be there;
additionally, several members are ready to present their discoveries and
    research during the workshop.

We are convinced that the other Jules Verne societies and clubs from around
the world will do the maximum to share this exceptional meeting with us.

So that we may plan for this incredible event, we look forward to getting
the appropriate forms and pricing information as quickly as possible. We'll
be deeply grateful if you can provide us with specific dates, times, and
places by the end of the summer. That way, those of us overseas can have
adequate time to make decent travel and financial arrangements.

Awaiting the pleasure of meeting you both in March 2005, we send you, dear
Jean-Paul, dear Piero, our best regards.
