Farscape ist wieder da!

    Am 17. Oktober ist es soweit! Der amerikanische Sender SCI FI Channel bringt die lang erwartete Miniserie "Farscape - The Peacekeeper Wars" zur Prime Time und setzt damit eine der innovativsten TV-Science-Fiction-Serien überhaupt fort. Da im Premierepaket die deutsche Version von SCI FI enthalten ist und man in der jüngeren Vergangenheit bereits die unsynchronisierte 4te Staffel gezeigt hat, stehen die Chancen für eine dt. Ausstrahlung sehr gut.


    Alle Fans der Serie warten schon seit langer Zeit darauf, dass die nach der vierten Staffel eingestellte Serie endlich ihren Abschluss findet (die letzte Staffel endete mit einem heftigen Cliffhanger).


    Die Miniserie wird 4 Stunden dauern (wahrscheinlich inkl. Werbung gerechnet), was darauf schliessen lässt, dass es sich um einen gewaltigen 4-Teiler á 45 Minuten handlen wird.

    Die Mini-Serie hat das übliche Format von 2x 90 Min. ... es besteht natürlich die Hoffnung, wenn die Quoten gut sind, dass Farscape danach auch weiterlebt .... *rumwart* ...

    Ist die Miniserie jetzt schon durch? Wenn ja, hat da jemand schon ne "Sicherung"? :D Ich glaube nämlich nicht, dass bei der aktuellen Farscape-Wiederholung auf Sci-Fi diese Folgen gezeigt werden...

    Staffel 4 wird nicht sychronisiert werden und die Miniserie (Staffel 5) lief erst vor knapp 3 Wochen in den USA. Hier gibt es einfach nicht die Nachfrage nach dieser Serie - warum auch immer. Ich finde sie jedenfalls besser als ST:VOY und ST:ENT zusammen, ganz zu schweigen von Andromeda...


    Auf lange Sicht muss ich wohl auf die restlichen DVD-Boxen warten. Staffel 3 ist gerade erschienen und wird von mir schon fleissig geschaut. Staffel 4 wird dann wohl im Frühjahr/Sommer erscheinen und dann wird auch die Miniserie mitkommen.


    (Trotzdem hätte ich die brandneuen Folgen gerne mal gesehen)

    Sicher ist nur der Tod ;)


    Mein letzter Stand bezüglich der Synchro ist, dass ausser Premiere/Sci Fi kein weiterer Sender Interesse an der Staffel bekundet hat und dementsprechend ein Auftrag zur Sychronisation für Premiere zu teuer war. Aus diesem Grund wurde die Sendung auch im Original ausgestrahlt. Ich übertrage diese Info jetzt einfach mal auf die Miniserie - kein Interesse an der unmittelbaren Fortsetzung bedeutet auch fehlendes Interesse an weiteren Fortsetzunngen ;)


    Die DVD-Boxen erscheinen ja leider auch nicht in Deutschland. Ich importiere die Teile aus England (natürlich ohne alternative Tonspur oder Untertitel). Was macht man nicht alles als Fan ;) Box 3 hat mich jetzt übrigens 109 Euro gekostet :P ich hab einen extrem ungünstigen Wechselkurs erwischt (nie wieder Vorbestellungen im Ausland!).

    Naaa ...da ist jetzt aber Infonachschub angesagt. Die Rechte für die Serie hat KOCH Media erworben. Die 1. Season-Box ist ab 5.11. erhältlich und kostet irgendwas zwischen 75 und 85 EURO.


    Ich durfte schon einen Blick auf die Box schmeißen, sie ist sehr nett gestaltet. Im Booklet werden sogar alle Synchronsprecher in die Besetzungsliste, neben den Schauspielern, aufgelistet.


    Wenn interesse besteht, kann ich hier ja mal ne Rezi schreiben?! :]


    WAS BEDEUTET DAS FÜR SEASON 4 ?! Koch Media und Premiere könnten evtl. gemeinsam die Übersetzung der Season 4 und der Mini-Serie finanzieren, was natürlich am Erfolg der Season 1 bis 3 auf DVD liegen dürfte...

    :heul: da kaufe ich mich dumm und dämlich, um die Serie auf DVD zu bekommen und dann erscheint die doch in Deutschland? Spitzeninverstition! :angryfire: Zumindest kann ich mich an den edlen Boxen erfreuen. Ich werde die Boxen jedenfalls nicht doppelt kaufen, sofern der Inhalt identisch ist (abgesehen von der Tonspur).


    UFF *schnappnachluft* 100,99 Euro bei amazon.de??? Die Box ist ja teurer als der Import :balla: ...und ich dachte schon die StarTrekBoxen sind überteuert.

    In der Regel ja, aber ich kenne Farscape nicht auswendig ...
    .... und was die Boxen angeht Season 3 und 4 habe ich auch aus England für teuer Geld erstanden .... das ist halt der Preis, den man für die eigene Ungeduld bezahlt :)


    Die Ausstattung dürfte mit den Season-Boxen identische sein. Es gibt Audiokommentare zu ausgewählten Episoden und Video-Profiles der Charactere

    Das ist eine Mini-Serie und daher sind das 2x 90 Min.-Spielfilme und keine 4x 42 Min. !!! Die 2 Filme schließen die Serie eigentlich rundum ab...


    Die dt. Box bietet alles was die Season-Boxen in UK auch bieten. Das Bild ist erstklassik, der Ton ist allerdings "Nur" ein Upmix und kein echtes 5.1, allerdings merkt man das nur, wenn man die Lautsprecher runterregelt und das Übersprechen der Dialoge hört...
    .......alles im allen also eine gelungen Season-Box...

    Hmm, auf SciFi.com wurde The Peacekeeper Wars als Vieteiler angekündigt :gruebel: eigentlich ist es mir aber egal, ob die ca. 180 Minuten auf 2 oder 4 Episoden aufgeteilt wurden :D Auch wenn die Serie damit abgeschlossen sein soll kursieren schon Gerüchte, dass es nun doch ne fünfte Staffel geben soll. Die Quoten waren wohl so überragend, dass das zumindest in Erwägung gezogen werden könnte *hoff*


    Danke für die Rezi der deutschen Box :) wenn man von der dt. Tonspur absieht scheint da ja kein weiterer Kaufgrund vorzuliegen. Allerdings hab ich noch immer nicht den Unterschied der britischen bzw. amerikanischen Seasonboxen zu den Collectors Boxen gefunden (mal abgesehen vom Layour der Boxen selber)...
